Students are guided through a series of assessments, activities, and tasks to explore their strengths, interests, options for the future. The program can be done by students individually, in small groups, or as part of a class.

Starting Line Program Summary:
The Starting Line Fast Track program for general education students is a complete, student-driven program designed to guide them through the process of identifying and achieving their post-school goals.
By completing numerous assessments and activities, students identify their wants, interests, strengths, and needs. Based on what they discover, students continue to refine their future options and become more aware of their opportunities and responsibilities.
Then students begin the process of taking ownership for their post-school goals by writing their own goals. Students also assess their readiness and develop a checklist of important tasks and a timeline for completing them.
Next, students are guided through a series of tasks which prepares them to reach their post-school goals.
By the end of the program, students are more confident and prepared to make a successful transition to adult life because of the work they have done in the Starting Line Fast Track program.
Implementing the Fast Track program:
Each student participating in the program will require his/her own Fast Track printed workbook.
The Fast Track is flexible and can be completed by students working individually, in small groups, or in a class. The Fast Track is also perfect for 18 to 22 year old students, alternative programs, and correctional institutions.
